Official trip to the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Kazakhstan

December 11-14. Chairman of the Council of Federation Sergey Mironov will visit the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Kazakhstan in the framework of the four-day official trip.

During the official visit to Iran Sergey Mironov will hold meetings with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Mohammad Hatami, Chairman of Islamic Council Assembly (Medzhlis) Golyam Ali Haddad-Adel, Chairman of the Guardian Council Akhmad Janati, Chairman of the Council on the estimation of political feasibility of taken decisions Ali Hashemi-Rafsanjani.

Chairman of the Council of Federation Sergey Mironov will speak at the session of the Islamic Council Assembly (Medzhlis) of the Islamic Republic of Iran and visit the historical site where the conference of the leaders of the countries – allies in the Second World War took place (Tehran, November 1943) .

During the official visit to Kazakhstan Chairman of the Council of Federation Sergey Mironov plans to address the senators of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, take part in the events dedicated to the “Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Days in the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

Sergey Mironov will also hold meetings with the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev, Prime-minister of Kazakhstan Danial Akhmetov, Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Nurtai Abykaev and the Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ural Mukhamedzhanov.

Chairman of the Council of Federation is going to visit seaquarium “Duman”, Bank of Development of Kazakhstan and the Space and Missile Center “Baiterek”.
